UWNA uses Volunteer Hub to coordinate volunteers. It’s easy to sign up and streamlines the process of getting people where they are needed most in trying times.
(If you are already signed up as a volunteer, we ask that you log in and make sure we have the most up-to-date contact info for you.)
In 2022, UWNA helped coordinate about 20 volunteer crisis response events over the spring and summer, as the region contended with multiple wildfires and monsoon season flooding.
By mid-August of that year, approximately 400 local volunteers had contributed more than 1,500 hours, including post-Tunnel Fire cleanup, replenishing sandbags in Sunnyside, and a massive effort to create and place hundreds of thousands of new sandbags for anticipated flooding in new burn scar areas.
If you have a heart for volunteering, please register with Volunteer Hub. Thank you for Living United in Purpose for our friends and neighbors in northern Arizona. |
