Good morning.
Just a week ago this Sunday, the Museum Fire began.
The blaze has scorched close to 2,000 acres just north of Flagstaff in the Dry Lakes region. As of yesterday, there were no structures destroyed and containment remained steady at about 12 percent.
Our community has always shown its willingness to #LiveUnited during times like these, and we’ve already seen how generous people have been with their time and money to help those affected by the wildfire.

In coordination with Coconino County, the UWNA opened the Museum Fire Volunteer Coordination Center this morning at the County’s Health and Human Services department building at 2625 N. King Street, Flagstaff. It will be open 8 am until 7 pm daily further notice.
Volunteers will be trained and deployed to help people in the community who need assistance with sandbags and other Museum Fire and flood-related issues. Those with trucks and/or trailers are encouraged to bring them.
