FLAGSTAFF — The city of Flagstaff has named Tiffany Antol as the new Planning Director. Antol participated in an open and competitive recruitment.
“Tiffany has been a strong leader during all of the transitions in Community Development, guiding the Planning and Development Services section during times of much growth and community change,” said Dan Folke, Community Development Director. “Throughout all these challenges, she has maintained a positive and healthy outlook that is contagious. I am very happy to have Tiffany as a member of the Community Development leadership team.”
Antol served as the Interim Planning Director for the past year, while also maintaining her position as Current Planning Manager. She has more than 20 years working in planning and the public sector. She started her planning career with the city of Prescott, then worked for more than 12 years with Coconino County, advancing to Principal Planner. She began with the city of Flagstaff in 2013 and was promoted to Current Planning Manager in 2017. Antol holds a Bachelor of Art BA in Geography/Urban Studies form San Francisco State University and a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Arizona.
“I am honored to lead the Planning and Development Services team, which consists of individuals who are smart, talented, hardworking and kind. I believe that this high-functioning team deserves a leader who encourages their efforts to make the City of Flagstaff a great place to live, work and visit,” said Antol.
