Native New Yorker Marc Tollis was half-asleep the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, when he realized his regular radio show had shifted from pop culture talk to something much more serious. He saw the smoke and waited anxiously for word from his sister, a college student who ended up stranded for hours on a subway. |
