A crater on Mars has been named after Nadine Barlow, a longtime NAU professor of planetary science who was a noted leader in the field of Mars crater studies. The commemoration, four years after her death from cancer, recognizes not only her significant contributions to science but also her commitment to collaborating and lifting up the next generation of scientists.
