It’s not like a regular class. It’s a cool class.
College is full of rules: deadlines, attendance policies, page counts. But one Honors College class is ditching the rule book in an attempt to push students out of their comfort zones. Finding Place in Northern Arizona, a class taught jointly by an English professor and a local artist, takes students to breathaking places like Sedona and the Grand Canyon and asks them to simply write, paint and draw what they see. There are no hacks or “right” answers, and students found that both terrifying and liberating.
