⭐ A flight to the stars ⭐

Oriel Humes got an unforgettable view of Flagstaff recently, with Venus, the crescent moon, Jupiter and Mars gracing the night sky over the city. She snapped the pic from a vantage point thousands of feet in the air, from a flying research facility known as SOFIA. The planetary science Ph.D. student took two flights on the modified 747 to collect data for her doctoral dissertation. Read the first-person recap of her unforgettable flight.
