As we enter the final weeks of the review period, there are still multiple opportunities to learn about the draft plan, talk to staff, and provide feedback. The focus of the thirteenth Regional Plan Committee meeting will be to discuss the draft Growth and Land Use chapter and the Future Growth Illustration for the Regional Plan 2045. Please note that this will be the final meeting before the full draft review begins on August 27.

The focus of the twelfth Regional Plan Committee meeting will be to resolve “parking lot” items for the Regional Plan 2045. Parking Lot items are unresolved topics from previous Regional Plan Committee meetings that required additional discussion or research to fully understand.

FLAGSTAF — The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County invite residents to participate in Scenario Choosing Open Houses for the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2045. These open houses are centered around how the region should approach growth to address uncertainties and opportunities that may lie ahead. This is a once-a-decade opportunity to shape the future of our community.
The open houses will be available in both an online and in-person format. To participate in the open house virtually, visit bit.ly/scenariochoosing from Nov. 16, 2023 to Jan. 19, 2024. Information on the in-person open houses is provided below. Attendees may sign up in advance for childcare at in-person events at flagstaff.az.gov/RegionalPlan2045.
The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County will be hosting four public workshops centered around how we can plan for multiple possible future scenarios, including potential uncertainties, as part of updating the Flagstaff Regional Plan. This is a critical opportunity to help ensure the Regional Plan 2045 is a successful tool no matter what the future holds.
