FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office is excited to announce an upcoming Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center (245 N. Thorpe Rd.)

FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office invites you to celebrate the changing seasons through a series of opportunities focused on preventing and diverting waste from the landfill throughout October and November. City of Flagstaff Neighborhood Sustainability Grants Open September 1-30th

FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office and Sustainability Commission is pleased to announce that the annual application period for the Neighborhood Sustainability Grants Program is open from September 1st – 30th. The program inspires projects that enhance sustainability and foster community partnerships.

Grant awards of up to $7,500 are available. Groups, nonprofits, individuals, and businesses with sustainability-related projects within Flagstaff city limits are invited to apply. Specifically, the Sustainability Commission is seeking community-centered projects in the categories of food, waste, climate action, resilience, transportation, building energy, and public health. The Flagstaff Sustainability Commission made up of seven Flagstaff residents, will review and determine awardees.

July 16 — Do you have a household item in need of repair? Don’t trash it, fix it for free at the Fix-it Clinic!

The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office is hosting a Fix-it Clinic on Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center, located at 245 N. Thorpe Rd.  

Volunteers will be fixing small household appliances, clothing, electronics, jewelry, bicycles and more. Appointments for fixes will be given priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Make an appointment online at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4CAFAA28A7FBC43-fixit
