
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 89A near the town of Jerome while rock removal is underway.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following restrictions on Interstate 40 at the Meteor Crater Road traffic interchange – about 30 miles east of Flagstaff – as work continues on the Meteor Crater Bridge rehabilitation project:
Meteor Crater Road will be closed between the east- and westbound I-40 on- and off-ramps daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, to Friday, Jan. 29.

East- and westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, and Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Speed will be reduced to 45 mph and a 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place; however, wider loads can be accommodated with at least 12 hours prior notice.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises northern Arizona drivers of ongoing lane restrictions on State Route 64 north of Williams.
The work is scheduled on north- and southbound SR 64 during the following times and locations:
Between Valle (milepost 213) and Tusayan (milepost 235) daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday, Sept. 17.
In the town of Tusayan between mileposts 235 and 237 overnight from 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, to 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for a weekend closure of the Fourth Street bridge over Interstate 40 from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, as work continues on the bridge replacement project.
Pedestrians, bicyclists and emergency vehicles will have access across Fourth Street during the closure. Drivers can use Huntington Drive or Soliere Avenue as an alternate route.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while construction is underway.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the following daytime lane restrictions on north- and southbound US 89 between Flagstaff (milepost 435) and Gray Mountain (milepost 442) for pavement maintenance:
Southbound US 89 will be narrowed to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Northbound US 89 will be narrowed to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for an extended closure of the Fourth Street bridge over Interstate 40 from 8 p.m. Friday, July 17, to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, as work continues on the bridge replacement project.
Pedestrians, bicyclists and emergency vehicles will have access across Fourth Street during the 17-day closure.
During the extended closure of Fourth Street, the following traffic restrictions on I-40 also will be in place:
Staffing limitations due to the ongoing public health emergency are resulting in delays to some Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division customer service operations.
Some customers have contacted MVD worried that registration tabs have taken longer than expected to be sent via the U.S. Mail. Even if there is such a delay, once a first-time registration or a renewal has been paid, the customer’s accurate status is updated to the MVD database accessible to law enforcement. Customers may also wish to keep their receipts after making payment.
