FLAGSTAFF — Brandi Suda has accepted the position Finance Director for the City of Flagstaff after filling the position as an interim since August 2015.
Suda has worked for the City of Flagstaff for eight years. During this time, she held the positions of Accountant, Finance Manager and Interim Finance Director. Recently, as the Interim Finance Director, Suda managed the Finance Section including Budget, Accounting, Grants Administration, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
According to Management Services Director, Rick Tadder, Suda “has demonstrated an ability to solve problems collaboratively and has been a key member of several organizational wide initiatives.”
Aside from working for the City of Flagstaff, Suda has assisted the Town of Jerome with preparing financial records for the annual budget, and is the Treasurer for Flagstaff Downtown Business Improvement and Revitalization District. Suda was previously Senior Accountant for Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP.
In 2001, Suda graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
