Hello SMS Families,
On behalf of Sinagua Middle School we appreciate your continued support as we work through the challenges of the last couple of months. We are in the process of officially closing out the 2019-2020 school year and want to keep you updated on next steps.
We are working on closing up classrooms for the summer, and we will be packing up your child’s personal items. Teachers are working in small shifts, and with limited opportunities to access the building, to ensure their safety in accordance with social distancing practices.
Sinagua Middle School will distribute student personal items and allow for the return of school materials including library books, iPads (including chargers), textbooks, music instruments, yearbooks, spring pictures or other school property.
The curbside pick up and return process is based on students last names and the schedule is as follows between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.:
- Last Name A-D: May 22, 2020
- Last Name E-J: May 26, 2020
- Last Name K-Q: May 27, 2020
- Last Name R-Z: May 28, 2020

Finally, we will be pushing the 8th grade promotion ceremony out on May 22 around 5 p.m. A call will be made prior to notify parents of the video release link and time.
