‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Sticker’ — Coconino County offering drive-up ballot drop off on Oct. 24, 31

FLAGSTAFF —  The Coconino County Elections Office is offering drive up/ballot drop off service this coming Saturday, October 24 and Saturday, October 31.  The service will be available from 9 am to 1 pm in the parking lot at 110 E Cherry Ave, Flagstaff.

There will be two election workers standing by a ballot box receiving voted ballots from voters.  Voters will be able to give the election workers their ballots and receive a “I Voted Sticker”.  In addition to providing a convenient service to the voters, it allows the election workers to check that the envelopes are signed before they go into the ballot box.  An early ballot cannot be counted unless the envelope is signed by the voter.

Voters that have already returned their voted early ballots will be able to drive through and get a sticker.  “There has been a lot of excitement around this election and we have heard from several early voters that they were disappointed that they didn’t get an ’I Voted Sticker‘ with their early ballot.  We thought having the ‘Signed, Sealed, Stickered‘ event would give them an opportunity to get a sticker,” said County Recorder Patty Hansen.
