This Friday, Saturday and Sunday an exciting self-guided tour is free and is open to the public. Roam through artists studios from 10 AM -5 PM Friday and Saturday and from Noon – 5PM on Sunday. The event is put on by the Sedona Visual Artists Coalition. The tour has built a reputation as a golden opportunity for art lovers to visit with professional artists in authentic working environments as well as purchase art while enjoying the lush landscape of Sedona and the Verde Valley.
The Sedona Arts Center will be participating for the first time this year. An anchor of the artistic community in the Sedona and the Verde Valley since 1958, the Arts Center brings creative people together for classes, workshops and annual festivals. Their Fine Art Gallery is open 363 days per year. During the tour, they will be hosting three unique artists who will be exhibiting and demonstrating their work.
At the Sedona Arts Center three artists will be demonstrating and exhibiting their work. In the Gallery lobby Claudia Ronaldson will be featured with her delicate and intricate mixed media drawings. In the North Studio Catherine Beers will be demonstrating her work on the potter’s wheel and showing vessels with a variety of finishes while Leanne Lee will display and demonstrate her unique paintings on marble.
Brochures with a complete list of participating artists, including a map, will be conveniently available at numerous locations around the Verde Valley, including hotels and restaurants as well as the Sedona Arts Center and the Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center in Uptown Sedona.
