FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office invites you to celebrate the changing seasons through a series of opportunities focused on preventing and diverting waste from the landfill throughout October and November. Read on for details about upcoming Drop-off Day, Fix it Clinic, and Pumpkin Drop events.
Drop-off Day
Bring those old aerosol cans, batteries, lights and more to the bi-annual drop-off event for proper disposal and reuse. Thanks to the City’s partners at the Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center, Coconino County, Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, Ponderosa Medical Waste Services, Elevated Shredding, Restoration Soils, and Westech Recyclers.

Fix it Clinic
Support sustainable consumption and divert waste from the landfill by fixing items that would otherwise end up in the trash. The City’s incredible team of volunteers can help fix almost anything, including electronics, jewelry, clothing, bicycles, and more!

Pumpkin Drop
Don’t let those pumpkins go to waste! Please help us prevent your carved pumpkins from going to the landfill by dropping them off to be composted by our partners at Compost Crowd
