FLAGSTAFF — The City Hall landscape Conversion Pilot will convert approximately 2,000 square feet of lawn on the south side of City Hall to a xeriscape demonstration starting the first week of June. This project will be executed through a partnership with the city’s Water Services department and TerraBIRDS.
The pilot project will conserve water, model water conservation tactics to the community, revitalize the landscape around City Hall, create pollinator spaces and explore the costs for similar transformations in other portions of the City Hall property. This project will utilize local youth to complete the work.
