Miss Cleo’s Tea party, a fundraiser to support the Cleo Murdock Community Center, to be held April 24

Miss-Cleo-Tea-Party-Fundraiser-April-24-2016-PosterMiss Cleo’s Tea Party is a fun-fundraiser for the Murdoch Community Center. Funds will be used to support the NAU Federal Work-study program students who work at the Murdoch Center. They staff the building about 40 hours a week which allows the building to be open and accessible to community members and others who may want to use the building.

The Multicultural Children’s and Young adult reading Corner was opened at the Center on February 28, 2016. The Reading Corner has over 100 books about famous multicultural people. The center is open until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays if parents want to bring their kids in to read about these amazing people. This is just one project that the funds from the tea will be used to support.
