Minimum Wage Information Available at the City of Flagstaff Office of Labor Standards

FLAGSTAFF — The minimum wage in Flagstaff increases to $10.50 effective July 1, 2017. In accordance with the Flagstaff City Code, the Office of Labor Standards, has been established to enforce Title 15.

According to Title 15 of the City Code the Office of Labor Standards is responsible for the following:

  1. Providing a bulletin to employers announcing adjustments to the minimum wage and template notices for employers to post in the workplace informing employees of the current minimum wage and their rights under Title 15. (15-01-001-0004)
  2. Implementation, Investigation and Enforcement (15-01-001-0006)
  3. Civil Penalties and Remedies (15-01-001-0007)

On March 21, 2017 meeting the Flagstaff City Council voted to approve the second and final reading of Ordinance 2017-08 amending Title 15, Labor; Chapter 15-01 Minimum Wage of the Flagstaff City Code. Ordinance No. 2017-08 amended the timeline for incremental increases in the minimum wage in furtherance of the purpose of Title 15. The minimum wage will increase to $10.50 effective July 1, 2017.
