March 17, at 3:00 pm: Johnathan Vankin, Assistant Professor, Latin American Cultural Studies and affiliated faculty at the UArizona Institute for LGBTQ+ Studies, UofA, will present “Severo Sarduy: Fatigue and the Tempo of HIV/AIDS.” The presentation is an examination of the relationship between illness and time in Sarduy’s final novel, Pájaros de la playa.
