Garrison Keillor Returns To Flagstaff August 26th
Mark your calendars as KNAU is bringing Garrison Keillor back to Flagstaff on Saturday August 26th with a live performance at the Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill Park in Flagstaff, AZ.

Two-plus hours of stories, love duets, Guy Noir, Cowboys, poetic outbursts, and their famous Singing Intermission at which the Eager & Able-Bodied stand and sing around the campfire.

Officials Warn of Flooding Danger Following Goodwin Fire
A northern Arizona wildfire is nearing full containment and officials say it’s time to take precautions against possible post-fire flooding. Officials say there’s a high risk of flooding during the monsoon, and a community meeting on flooding potential, flood insurance and runoff hazards is planned at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Mayer High School. Learn more at KNAU.org.

NAU Professor Discusses Science, Politics and Trust

Polls show that Americans are ambivalent about the role of science in our society. Ironically, there’s plenty of research about why people mistrust research. Authorities Scale Back Search for Arson and Shooting Suspect
Authorities have scaled back the search for a man accused of setting fires in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests and shooting at a federal officer earlier this week. Members of federal, state and county agencies were unable to find the suspect in the Forest Lakes area following the incidents. Learn more at KNAU.org.
