Poetry Friday: Eco-Poetry, Becoming One With Nature
Eco-poetry is a style of nature poetry that is less about describing nature and more about becoming one with it. At least that’s how Flagstaff poet Pam Davenport does it. She teaches eco-poetry workshops in beautiful outdoor settings, and encourages participants to experiment with writing from the perspective of a plant, or animal, or season. Learn more at KNAU.org.
Earth Notes: Rezcycling
There’s no curbside recycling for the twelve villages that make up the Hopi reservation. That’s mainly because of remoteness and sheer distance from potential buyers of recyclable materials. But, a brother and sister team are trying to change that. Learn more at KNAU.org.
Museum Fire Burned in Recently Thinned Areas; Consumed Log Decks, Slash
