We cordially invite you to join us as we kick off the holiday season with two family-friendly events next week that will light up your night, give you a head start on your holiday shopping – and support the United Way of Northern Arizona.
On Thursday, November 16, we’ll “oooh” and “aaah” as hundreds of trees are illuminated at the Little America Holiday of Lights. This special evening will include a kiddie caboose, balloons twisted into unique shapes, face painting, caroling, and a raffle to benefit UWNA.
The festivities are from 4 to 7:30 pm at 2515 E. Butler Ave. And don’t worry about parking – there’s a free shuttle courtesy of Northern Arizona University from nearby Foxglenn Park.
That weekend, plan on checking out the creativity of dozens of talented artisans during the 17th Annual Mountain Campus Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair. Find some truly unique gifts for friends and loved ones while you support local artists and enjoy beautiful holiday music. There’s even a visit from Santa on Saturday!
The fair is from 9 am to 6 pm on November 18, and 10 am to 2 pm on November 19 in the DuBois Ballroom on the Northern Arizona University campus. The $2 fee for adults and $1 fee for students goes towards the United Way’s annual campaign. Kids 12 and under can get in for free.
We look forward to seeing you next week as we start this wonderful season and celebrate the power of “LivingUnited.”
