Dear partner and friend, greetings!
(June 17th) radio program will be on “Education: The Great Equalizer.” Several young professionals will relate how they managed to take this path and accomplished their goal. Join us by radio, website, or Facebook Live (see details below). Remember that all radio programs are archived on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
I am attaching a sample of the flyer we are preparing for Arizona events linked to Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15). Please send me any that you know of, especially in areas outside of Maricopa County; include the date, the event name, and the online link if available.
As part of Hispanic Heritage Month we are also encouraging families to watch the PBS 6-episode series Latino Americans (www.pbs.org/latino-americans (available in English and Spanish). We hope that viewing community events could be arranged. Please keep in mind that organizing such group events would be up to the person and/or entity that wants to put them together. From our end we will prepare a flyer and share it soon.
Also, please know that our platform just exceeded the first 1000 likes. Many thanks for helping us spread the word!
