Congratulations! Felicidades! Happy Supervisor Day! — Jeronimo Vasquez, Coconino County Board of Supervisor
Today the community District 2 and Supervisor Jeronimo celebrated the February 12th one year anniversary at Ponderosa Park.
It was only one year ago February 12, 2021 that this outstanding Hispanic Leader came on Board the Coconino County Board of Supervisors.
We, the Hispanic community want to congratulate him for a year of great achievements.
He was just recently also voted in by other supervisors the new Vice-Chair for the BOS.
He is also Treasurer for Coconino Plateau Water Advisory Council and many other community boards.
We always encourage Latinx-Latino-Hispanic Leadership in our county, state and nation. (NALEO)
We are very proud of Hispanic Leaders like Supervisor Jeronimo and the path he is trailblazing for the Our future Hispanic leaders.
In one year, he has achieved so much with the support of our community. He has built many partnerships while working diligently on the Museum Flood systems, working with volunteers, ensuring we have COVID PSA inclusive of dual languages and the new Siren System to alert the residents. He attended County Supervisor Association Legislative meetings, he works to assist the vulnerable in the community, investing in bringing STEM to Killips Elem school, working on Redistricting maps, keeping connections with local events like Juneteenth, Doney Park Timberline Fernwood Area Planning and Meetings in the Streets.
