The Center’s Fine Art Gallery showcases the largest selection in Sedona of artwork by nearly 100 local and regional artists. If you are seeking a rare piece of fine art, a gift of exquisite jewelry, appreciate stunning photography, or looking for a lovely keepsake from your visit to Sedona, the Arts Center has it all and more. The Arts Center is a 501(c)3 organization that offers all purchases without sales tax – almost a 10% savings.

The Fine Art Gallery is currently open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm.

School Spotlight: Imagined Places
An Online Writing Workshop with Brian Evans-Jones

During Covid, so many of us were denied the chance to visit places we wanted to see. This workshop is a chance to recover your lost travels! You will write pieces that take you to your lost places, places you wish you could go, and even impossible places. Along the way, you’ll learn how to write powerfully about place, and how to use it to convey wide-ranging ideas.

Suitable for writers of all levels of experience and all genres, including poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.

About Brian Evans-Jones

Brian Evans-Jones is a poet and teacher from Britain, now living in New England. He was Poet Laureate of the Hampshire region in the UK in 2012-13, and he won the Maureen Egan Award from Poets & Writers in NYC in 2017. His poems have been published or featured in publications, competitions, and art events on both sides of the Atlantic. Since 2005 he has taught poetry and creative writing to writers of all ages, including workshops in arts centers, historic houses, prisons, libraries, and more.

Sedona Arts Center is one of Northern Arizona’s most well-established cultural organizations and serves as the creative heart of Sedona. Founded in 1958, the nonprofit organization is based at the Art Barn in Uptown and offers year-round classes, exhibitions, festivals, and cultural events that enhance the creative life of the Verde Valley.
