Fourth County COVID-19 Testing Blitz collects 341 tests

Coconino County collected 341 tests for COVID-19 at the fourth Testing
Blitz event held Saturday, May 30. Coupled with the first three testing blitz events, the County has collected 1,439 tests.

FLAGSTAFF — Coconino County collected 341 tests for COVID-19 at the fourth Testing Blitz event held Saturday, May 30 at the Coconino Health and Human Services location in Flagstaff. Coupled with the first three testing blitz events, the County has collected 1,439 tests.

“Testing is a priority in Coconino County as we battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.” said Coconino County Supervisor Liz Archuleta, Chair of the Board of Supervisors. “We thank everyone who has come to be tested and we encourage and hope that the State will continue these testing blitzes. These events are an example of the strong partnership and collaboration by our County team, the Flagstaff Police Department, Arizona National Guard, TGen North, and all of the terrific medical volunteers from organizations across the County.”

Specimens collected at the Blitz were sent to TGen North. Once results are received, Coconino County Health and Human Services will notify those tested of results throughout the week.

Testing is available at Fort Tuthill County Park Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those with COVID-19 symptoms or a medical order.
