Fort Tuthill COVID-19 Vaccination Site Closing

Coconino County Health and Human Services to Shift Focus to Pop-up Vaccine Clinics

The final day of operations for the Fort Tuthill COVID-19 Vaccination Site at 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop in Flagstaff is Tuesday, May 18. Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) vaccination operations will shift to special pop-up vaccination events.

First and second dose Moderna vaccine and Johnson & Johnson one dose vaccine will continue to be available to those aged 18 and over without an appointment at the Fort Tuthill vaccination site from 8 am – 3 pm through Thursday, May 13 this week. The Fort Tuthill vaccination site will close at 1 pm on Friday, May 14. The site will be open on Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18 from 8 am – 3 pm.

Upcoming COVID-19 vaccination pop-up events are scheduled as follow:

•    Friday, May 14, 2 – 7 pm:  Moderna vaccine Pop-up event at San Francisco de Asis Roman Catholic Church, 1600 E. Rt 66 in Flagstaff. No appointment is needed. First and second dose Moderna vaccine will be available.

•    Friday, May 14, 11 am – 1 pm: Coconino County Courthouse lawn, 200 N. San Francisco St., Flagstaff, Moderna and J&J vaccine available. No appointment is needed.

•    Wednesday, May 19, 3 – 6 pm: Pinewood Country Club, 395 Pinewood Blvd., Munds Park, Moderna and J&J vaccine available. No appointment is needed.

A weekly pop-up vaccination clinic will be held each Wednesday beginning May 19, 10 am – 1 pm, CCHHS, 2625 N. King Street, parking lot.  Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine offered. Both drive up and walk-up vaccinations available, no appointment needed. Information is available at coconino.az.gov/covid19vaccine

COVID-19 Pfizer vaccinations are also available at the Northern Region Vaccination Site, NAU University Union Fieldhouse, 1050 Knoles Drive, Flagstaff. Beginning Thursday, May 13, individuals ages 12 and over can begin receiving the Pfizer vaccine at the Northern Region Pod Site.  Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 10 am – 6 pm through May 29. The site is closed on Sundays and will be closed on May 30 – June 1 in observance of Memorial Day. Beginning June 2 and forward, site hours will be 10 am – 6 pm Wednesday through Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome.  Information is available at podvaccine.azdhs.gov.
