Flagstaff drivers should plan for daily roadway restrictions on a section of eastbound State Route 66 between Phoenix and Humpreys avenues from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., through Friday, Sept. 13.
The Arizona Department of Transportation has issued a permit to perform exploratory work in preparation for an upcoming Rio de Flag bridge replacement project.
Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and watch for construction personnel and equipment in the work zone.
