Accelerating Innovation

Doors open at 6 p.m. followed by an exciting AI-inspired ballet performance at 6:30 p.m. with NAU Community Music and Dance Academy. The performance explores how artificial intelligence can enhance the creative process, and highlights the fusion of human artistry and technological innovation.

The Keynote lecture will commence at 7 p.m. Watch our promotional video to get a taste of the presentation with Jana Eggers! Although tickets are free, we do request that you reserve your spot in advance.

Vote Yes on Proposition 487

The Festival of Science urges you to vote YES to support Proposition 487 – the Tax Renewal of the Bed, Board and Beverage Tax – in the November election (Flagstaff voters). The bed, board and beverage tax, paid largely by visitors, is up for renewal as Proposition 487 on the November ballot. This tax funds art, culture, and science programming in addition to public parks, recreation opportunities, community beautification, and more. Voters with questions can attend a Ballot Initiative Open House on Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Aquaplex from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. hosted by Discover Flagstaff.
