The Flagstaff Festival of Science believes our success is possible through creative and engaging programming and we INVITE you to participate!
The Festival’s mission is to “connect and inspire the citizens of Northern Arizona, especially our youth, with the wonders of science and the joy of scientific discovery”.
Now in its 32nd year, the Festival produces 10 full days of programming. With your help, and in a variety of scientific, cultural and historical sites, educational institutions, museums and attractions, Festival-goers have a number of opportunities to learn about the unique science initiatives happening right here in Flagstaff. By partnering with agencies, the Festival acts as the glue that holds all of the activities together. We know that collaboration among partners improves the quality of life in Flagstaff, and creates cohesion, lifting the tide of Flagstaff’s cultural and scientific institutions!
This year, we aim to combine virtual and in-person events as applicable with social distancing and COVID protocols.
The Festival supports the belief that science is for the entire community, regardless of background, education, gender or financial circumstance. We encourage the chance for citizens to be more science-literate so they may be prepared to engage in solving difficult environmental, health, technological and other problems as active members of society.
With your participation, we can create a powerful series of events to engage and captivate the entire community!
