Library Closures
The Downtown and East Flagstaff Community Libraries will be CLOSED Monday, February 19th in honor of Presidents' Day.
Adult & All-Ages Events
Paper Quilt Take-and-Make Kit. Celebrate the Coconino Quilters’ Guild bi-annual quilt show by designing your own paper quilt! Instructions and paper are provided. Kits are available at the Downtown Library Information Desk, February 15th through March 21st, while supplies last.
Movie & Discussion: Shattered Glass. Feb. 20th, 5:30-7:30pm Downtown Library. Based on a true story, this film examines journalist Stephen Glass, prodigy of The New Republic magazine, and his scandalous fall from grace. View the film and stay for a discussion of journalists' ethics. Rated PG-13 for language, sexual references and brief drug use.
Poetry Maps. Help the Museum of Northern Arizona map the Colorado Plateau through poetry! Through April 2, the museum is accepting poetry entries inspired by images from the museum's collection. Visit the Community Room to view the 30 images and craft a poem to submit. February 22nd from 5:30 to 7:00pm in the Downtown Library Community Room.
Book Clubs
Banned Book Club: Speak. Rescheduled to Tuesday February 27th from 6 to 7pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Rape? Immorality? "Soft-pornography"? Join us to discuss the novel as well as the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them today.
LGBT+ Book Club. March 11th at 6:30pm. Jonny Appleseed by Joshua Whitehead. East Library.
Thursday Night Book Club: Anxious People by Fredrik Backman. March 14th at 6pm. April 11 @6pm Dinosaurs: A Novel. May 9th at 6pm TBA. Pick up a copy of the book at the Downtown Information Desk. Meet in the downtown community room or online via zoom!
Senior Book Club at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center. March 18th at 1pm. 3rd Monday of every month. Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng. Upcoming: Trust by Hernan Diaz on April 15th.

Crafty Corner. Express your creativity at the East Flagstaff Community Library! Tuesdays, January 16th through March 5th from 3:30 to 4:30pm. Ages 3+.
Family Storytime 2024. Wednesdays January 17 through March 6 from 10:30 to 11:15am at the East Flagstaff Community Library.
Flagstaff Public Library Chess Club. January 16th, January 30th, February 20th, and March 5th at 3:45pm. Play chess with us. Learn chess with us. Ages 7+.

LEGO Club. Ages 5-11. Thursdays January 25, February 8, February 22, and March 7 from 3:45 to 4:45pm. Build, learn, share. East Flagstaff Community Library.

Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more. Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
