Friends of the Library Book Sale: Sundays, September 11th to October 9th at the Downtown Library
Adult & All-Ages Events
Meet Us at the Trailhead: Leroux Springs. Saturday, September 3rd at 9am.  Join library staff on a 2.5 mile hike with interesting local history, springs and maybe even some mushroom hunting!
Exploring the Art of Dale Chihuly. Wednesday September 7th at 6pm. Downtown Library. In developing new art forms in the field of blown glass, Chihuly became known worldwide. He has had exhibits in the Phoenix Botanical Garden.
Science Cafe. Saturday, September 10th at 10am at the East Flagstaff Community Library. Have you ever been frustrated by a slow internet connection? Join Dr. Morgan Vigial-Hayes to learn about new tools to address the digital divide and to find out how you can be a part of a new Citizen Science action project in Flagstaff!
Pride in Your Community: Name Change Clinic with One-N-Ten and Aspey Watkins and Diesel, PLLC law firm. September 12th at 6:30pm. Ages 12 and up. Click here to register.
Poetry Out Loud: poetry reading and discussion group. 2ND Tuesday April - September @ 3PM Pick up MONTHLY materials at the Downtown Library Information desk. Tuesday September 13t at 3pm: Joy Harjo. Outside on the northwest lawn, weather permitting.
Climate Covernsation: Flagstaff's Climate Impacts and Vulnerabilities.  Part of the Climate Resilience Project, Climate Conversations are expert-facilitated discussions on the science, news, and feelings around a climate topic. Tuesday, September 13th at 6pm. Downtown Library.

YA for Adults Book Club: Ella Enchanted. August 26th at 5pm at the Downtown Library and on Zoom.
Thursday Night Book Club: The Beauty of Your Face. September 8th at 6pm at the Downtown Library and on Zoom.
Banned Book Club: Fahrenheit 451. Thursday, September 22nd, 6pm to 7:30pm. Downtown Community Room. Though published in 1953, the story's themes book banning, tech addiction, and social isolation remain relevant. Join us as we discuss not only the novel itself, but also the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them today..
Southwest Reads Book Club: Barbed. September 26th at 5:30 pm at the Downtown Library.
Festival of Science Book ClubL The Writing of the Gods: The Race to Decoe the Rosetta Stone. TuesdaySeptember 27th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Downtown Library.
LGBT Virtual Book Club: The Fever King by Victoria Lee. October 10th at 6:30pm. Recommended for ages 15 and up.
Senior Book Club at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center. October 17th at 1pm. 3rd Monday of every other month. This month is The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett

Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.   Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
