Adult & All-Ages Events
Earth Day Take Home Kits. Build a bug hotel or bee watering station to support local pollinator populations! Pick up kits at the Downtown Library Reference Desk starting April 1st, while supplies last.
Bees, Butterflies, and Beyond: Caring for Pollinators in Northern Arizona. Celebrate Earth Day with Patrick Pynes, Ph.D. & the Northern Arizona Organic Beekeepers Association! Learn about the importance of nurturing local bee habitats with flowering plants and discuss differences and similarities between the non-native honeybees and native pollinators. Downtown Library. Nuestra Cultura. Ven a conversar sobre la cultura hispana y latinoamericana, el segundo miércoles del mes en la sala comunitaria de la biblioteca del centro. Tendremos cafecito y té disponible. El Miercoles 12 de Abril a las 5:30pm.
Senior Coffee Hour. April 12th at 10AM. Downtown Library Northwest Corner. Coffee and Snacks Provided! For adults Age 55 and up. Sarah Downing from Creative Flagstaff will discuss programs and volunteer opportunities, including community art projects and festivals, ArtWalk, the Viola Awards, and more!
City of Flagstaff Job Fair. Friday, April 14th. 12pm to 5pm. Downtown Library. See current job openings, learn how to create a resume and cover letter, participate in mock interviews, and more!
Resilience Work Session: Fire Adapted Communities. April 15th at 11am. Forest Service Road 515. Meet on-site at Observatory Mesa to learn about the 3 principles of fire adapted communities and see what's being done to protect our forest with Neil Chapman, Wildland Forest Health Specialist. Wear sturdy shoes and be sure to bring water! Click here to register.

Storytimes at the Downtown Library! Baby Laptime: March 28th to May 9th, Tuesdays at 9:15 am. Preschool Express: March 29th to May 11th, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am. Toddler Tales: March 28th to May 11th, Tuesdays at 10 am and Thursdays at 9:15 am. Saturday Story Stop: Year-round at 10:30 am.
Crafty Corner. Express your creativity at the East Flagstaff Community Library! Tuesdays, March 28th to May 16th. 3:30 to 4:30pm. Ages 3 and up.
Family Storytime at the East Flagstaff Library. Wednesdays, March 29th to May 17th. 10:30 to 11:15 am.
Creation Station: Stories and crafts. Wednesdays, April 12th and 26th and May 10th at 3:30pm. Downtown Community Room.
LEGO Club at the Downtown Library. Mondays March 6th and 20th and April 3rd and 17th. 3:45 to 4:45pm. Ages 5 and up
LEGO Club at the East Flagstaff Library. Thursdays April 6th amd 20th and May 4th and 18th. 2:30 to 4:00pm. Ages 5 to 11.
Game Day: Wednesdays, April 12th and May 10th. 2:30pm tp 4pm. Ages 8 to 17. Swing by the East Flagstaff Library to play video games and tabletop games.
Anime Tales and Play. Mondays, April 1th to May 8th. 3:15 to 4:30pm. East Flagstaff Community Library. Watch anime, play games, get crafty, and discuss anime and manga. Food provided! Ages: teens
Bards and Nobles: Dungeons and Dragons for Teens. April 20th. 5pm to 7:30pm. Downtown Library. Ages 12 to 18.Registration required.

Senior Book Club at the Joe C Montoya Community and Senior Center. April 17th at 1pm. Run Rose Run by Dolly Parton and James Patterson.
Climate Resilience Project Common Read Book Club. Join monthly meetings to discuss a chapter of The Community Resilience Reader. Join us in person at the Downtown Library Community Room or on Zoom, even if you haven't read the chapter yet! Tuesday, April 25th at 5:30pm: Ch 7: Systems Literacy

Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more. Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
