Adult & All-Ages Events
Community Living Room, Featuring Deborah Harris. Learn about the Southside Community Association & the Murdoch Center. Wednesday, March 15th, northwest corner of the Downtown Library. 6 to 7 PM.
The Art of the Camera and Its History. Join us in looking at cameras of all shapes, sizes, and designs as we try to capture the charm, fun, creativity, and the art of cameras. Monday, March 20th, 6:00 to 7:30pm. Downtown Library and on Zoom.
Movie Tuesday: A League of Their Own. A look at the first women's baseball league, set during WWII, that focuses on the rivalry between sisters who play on the same team managed by a washed-up ex-Major Leaguer. March 21st at 5:30 to 7:45pm. Downtown Library. Rated PG for language.

Spring S.T.E.A.M. A fact-filled program of the wacky & weird with an experiment & craft. Ages 8-12. Monday, March 13th at 2pm. Downtown Library.
Plant Superheroes! Learn about Colorado Plateau plant adaptations and their superhero powers for survival. All ages. Tuesday, March 14th from 1 to 2 pm. Downtown Library.
Let's Get Crafty!. Come to the Downtown Library and make some fun crafts! Tweens and teens. Wednesday, March 15th at 2pm. Ages 10 to 17.

Banned Book Club: The Handmaid's Tale. Wednesday March 29th, 5:30 to 6:30pm Downtown Library Community Room. Totalitarianism. Sex slavery. Tyranny in the guise of religion. Join us to discuss the novel as well as the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them today.

Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.
