Folded Book Witch Take -&-Make Kit. Use a paper silhouette and an old book to create your own witchy Halloween decoration! Kits available at the Downtown Library Information Desk, Oct 1st- 31st, or while supplies last.
Beginner Technology Classes. Join us for a beginners series to learn basics you need to know to use a personal computer or smartphone. All technology is provided for computer-based classes. With the use of prompts, time allotments, and group sharing, Wily Writers will learn more about their writing and support others along the way. You bring your writing tools and we'll bring the fun! Youth Water Ethics Essay and Art WorkShop. Willow Bend Environmental Education Center and the Downtown Flagstaff Library invite you to participate in an interactive workshop exploring the vital concept of water ethics and the importance of water conservation. With the use of Project WET material, this engaging session will guide students with in crafting essays or creating artwork for our Water Ethics Contest, tailored for 4th graders. Youth aged 9 and older are welcome to participate in this fun and educational opportunity. Become a Friend to the Library. How Our Group Helps? We raise money to help support our library system and their many programs. How Do We Raise Money? Membership Dues, Year-Round Book Sales, Special Annual Book Sale, Merchandise Sales, Generous Donations. We also host a special event for local authors. At this event, the Copper Quill Award is presented to a local author chosen by past Copper Quill winners. Benefits to You: Support your library, Early Access to Members Preview Day of Annual Book Sale, 25% off books being sold through Friends at the library.
Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.
