Adult & All-Ages Events
Knitting in Nature. Saturday September 2nd, 10am-12pm at Peak View Rec Area (35°15'52.2"N 111°42'15.6"W). Join us at the Peak View Winter Recreation Area to enjoy crafting in nature! Learn a new skill, or bring your knitting, crochet, or other craft projects. All ages and skill levels welcome!
Game Night with Vault. First WEDNESDAY of each month from 5:00 to 7:30pm. September 6th is at the Downtown Library. Board games, card games, and more!
Author Talk by T.L. Derks: Particular Bravery: The Battle of Xa Cam My and the Death of a Grunt Company. Thursday, Sept. 7th, 6pm-7pm in the Downtown Library Community Room.
Senior Coffee Hour: September 13 at 10am. Downtown Library Northwest corner. Coffee and Snacks Provided! For adults ages 55 and up. Aurora Hoffman from Riordan Mansion and Arizona State Parks & Trails will discuss activities and volunteer opportunities!

Thursday Night Book Club: Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy. August 10 at 6 PM, Downtown Library & on Zoom.
Southwest Reads Book Club: The Three-Cornered War by Megan Kate Nelson.September 27th at 6:pm. Downtown Library.
Banned Book Club: The Hate U Give. Tuesday October 3rd from 6 to 7pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Police brutality? Protests? Riots? "Pervasive vulgarity"? Join us to discuss the novel as well as the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them today.

Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more. Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
