Feb. 27 — NAU Dept. of History presenting ‘The Hispanic Republican — Unpacking Latino Conservatism’

The Northern Arizona University History Department is hosting Professor Geraldo Cadava on Monday, February 27 at 4:30 pm in Science Annex room 106 who will speak on “The Hispanic Republican: Unpacking Latino Conservatism.”

Dr. Cadava is Historian and Associate Professor of History and Latino Studies at Northwestern University and the author of “The Hispanic Republican: The Shaping of an American Political Identity, from Nixon to Trump” (New York: Ecco, 2020) and “Standing on Common Ground: The Making of a Sunbelt Borderland” (Harvard University Press, 2013), numerous journal articles and book chapters, and a regular contributor to outlets such as the New York Times, the New Yorker, the Boston Globe, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times.
