FLAGSTAFF — Estimado/a/s colegas,
Latin American Studies presents two speakers about about different aspects of the Amazon Rain Forest!
On Tuesday Feb 11 at 4:30 pm, in the International Pavilion
- Melissa A. Liebert, Assistant Professor of Anthropology will present, “Culture Change and Health among the Indigenous Shuar of Amazonian Ecuador.”
- Pete Fulé, Regents Professor of Forestry, will present “Why and how much is the Amazon Burning?”
Please spread the word amongst your students, faculty, staff and community members about these timely, important and fascinating presentations! Depending on your criteria, please consider offering extra credit to students, these will be excellent talks on subjects that we don’t often hear about from two of NAU’s best teacher/scholars!
I hope to see you there!
Saludos,
Bob Neustadt
