Crisp Hill Fire today in Timberline
Dear Timberline Residents,
Earlier today, shortly before 11:00 AM, there was a two acre fire in Timberline at Crisp Hill. Summit Fire responded immediately with many resources and was able extinguish the fire quickly and almost immediately. Sheriff Deputies and Search and Rescue were also on site  and started a door to door fire warning  to allow residents to begin the “Ready” phase of “Ready, Set, Go”. The Office of the Sheriff was also prepared to send an Emergency Alert/Evacuation call if needed.
Thankfully, there was no need to evacuate the area due to the immediate response from Summit Fire. Summit was able to get immediate control of the fire.
This week you will receive a mailing from me regarding fire preparedness. We all need to do our part to protect our community from fires. Please know we are in Stage 1 Fire Restrictions – NO BURNING IS ALLOWED. On Friday May 4th at 8:00 a.m. we will move to a stricter Stage 2 Fire Restrictions.
Fortunately, we are expecting some badly needed moisture/snow tonight and tomorrow, however it will likely not be enough moisture to let our guard down!
Please call me at 928-679-7162 with any questions.
