Fill out the census and get counted!

Coconino County Residents Count:
Fill out the 2020 Census!
What is the 2020 Census and Why is it Important?
The census aims to collect an accurate count of our population which determines federal funding for our communities for resources like schools, hospitals, fire departments, roads, etc. The census also helps determine federal funding in times of disaster like the COVID-19 pandemic or forest fires, as well as determines the amount of seats Arizona will have in the U.S. House of Representatives.
By filling out the census, you are ensuring that our community is counted and can receive the necessary resources we need to keep our community safe, healthy, and thriving!
Other important things to keep in mind:
- Count everyone who is living in your house on 04/01/20 on your census form
- The census DOES NOT ask about citizenship
- All information collected is required BY LAW to be kept confidential
- Make sure to include children and babies when filling out your census
- EVERYONE COUNTS!

Effective April 1, 2020, the playgrounds, swing sets, rockers, ramadas, picnic tables and barbecue grills at all parks, the outdoor fitness center located at Bushmaster Park and the Parcourse Stations at Buffalo Park will be closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The city recognizes the importance of these outdoor amenities; however, the safety of the public, staff and the effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 are the highest priority.
All parks, FUTS trails and protected open space are still open for walking, hiking, biking and other outdoor recreation that can be done with responsible social and physical distancing. Help the community and city by practicing social and physical distancing at the tennis and basketball courts, ball fields, multipurpose fields, dog parks, skate parks and other amenities that remain open.
