Governor Ducey Issues Four New Executive Orders
Governor Ducey issued four Executive Orders to protect public health and support those in need as the state works to slow the spread of COVID-19. The Executive Orders:
  • Enhance and reinforce health protection in Arizona residential care institutions, nursing care institutions and related health care facilities;
  • Expand healthcare reporting requirements for hospitals and health care providers to better track data needed to protect health care workers and patients and help slow the spread of COVID-19;
  • Increase quarantine guidelines for travelers entering Arizona from areas with substantial community spread;
  • And allow Arizona restaurants to repackage and sell grocery items they have on hand, including items not normally packaged and labeled for resale.
ADHS & ASU Partner for New Mindfulness Website in Response to COVID-19
In order to support Arizonans to increase social connectedness and manage anxiety associated with COVID-19, ADHS, in partnership with the ASU Center for Mindfulness, Compassion, and Resilience, launched a new Mindfulness website.

2020 Census Video Challenge!
Due April 17, 2020
The challenge: Explain why the Census matters in a short (30 seconds to 3 minutes) video, designed for a platform such as YouTube, that uses entertainment, emotion, creativity, and/or humor to motivate people to respond.
This video prize challenge is open to any individual, team, or university student/student organization that can create a video that meets all of the requirements of this challenge.
To be eligible to win a prize under the Challenge, those entering: (1) Must agree to participate in the competition under the rules and abide by the terms and conditions in this notice by submission of their contact information, video link, and video description; (2) Must comply with all submission, content, and format requirements. Each individual, team, or student may submit more than one video to this Challenge so go crazy
Prizes will be allocated as follows:
  • $30,000 for a grand prize winner
  • $10,000 for a runner-up
  • $10,000 for a student prize
