Coconino County Health and Human Services is continuing to provide Rental and Utility Assistance Services by phone, email, mail or by appointment. You can contact them at 928-679-7300.
Resources for Small Businesses and Employees
Each week a virtual meeting and business-centric briefing (Primarily for Small Businesses) will be facilitated by Coconino County business and health professionals which will bring current, simple and practical business advice via your computer or smart phone.

FUSD Food Service Expanded to Mobile Sites
The Flagstaff Unified School District is expanding the grab and go breakfast and lunch program with the addition of mobile site locations.  Beginning on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, the “Grab and Go” Food Service program will be expanded to additional mobile sites located in Mountainaire, Kachina, Munds Park, Bow & Arrow, Lumberjack Store and along Leupp Rd. The mobile locations will be next to FUSD white buses.
The addresses of mobile the sites are:
  • Zuni & Kofa @ the Cul de Sac (8:30 a.m. -9:00 a.m.)
  • Zuni Drive & Cochise Dr @ Bow & Arrow Park (9:03 a.m. – 9:33 a.m.)
  • Mountainaire Store (8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.)
  • Kachina Trail @ Raymond Park (9:10 a.m.-9:40 a.m.)
  • 37 Pinewood Blvd @ the Post Office (9:50 a.m.-10:20 a.m.)
  • 6885 Lumberjack @ the Lumberjack Store (8:30 a.m.-8:45 a.m.)
  • Rustler Rd & Leupp Rd (8:51 a.m.-9:01 a.m.)
  • S Horn Rd & Leupp Rd (9:14 a.m.-9:24 a.m.)
  • Star School (9:25 a.m.-9:40 a.m.)
“Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch meals will continue to be available for any child, age 18 and under, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at Coconino High, Cromer Elementary, Killip Elementary, Kinsey Elementary, Leupp Elementary, Marshall Elementary, and Thomas Elementary.
Following the acceptance of an Arizona Department of Education waiver, children do not have to be present if their parents or guardians wish to pick up the meal.
Emergency Housing Assistance for Veterans

The Veteran Resource Center is now funding emergency hotel stays for veterans seeking housing.
If you are:
• in congregate living situations such as shelters;
• are 60 or older or
• have significant underlying health problems,
• particularly those with weakened immune system or health problems that impact lung functions.
Please have the Veteran call 928-266-1984 for this assistance.
County Treasurer Updates Payment Options
The Coconino County Treasurer’s Office is now altering service levels and payment methods due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to protect public health.
Property owners can pay taxes in person at a temporary drive-thru window from 9 a.m. – noon on Mondays and Wednesdays at 2304 N. Third Street in Flagstaff. People can also pay online, via telephone, by mail or at our drop box located at 110 E. Cherry Ave. in Flagstaff.
Coconino County Treasurer’s Office is now the first in Arizona that can accept PayPal Credit. Individuals interested must apply directly with PayPal. For additional information, visit https://www.coconino.az.gov/372/Treasurer.
“I understand that this is a very stressful time, especially for those suffering direct effects from this public health crisis, and my office is committed to helping any way we can,” said Sarah Benatar, Coconino County Treasurer. “Ensuring the health, safety and economic tranquility of our citizens is of the utmost importance. All 15 County Treasurers stand together in our commitment to help in any way we can and urge our Governor and Legislature to take immediate action in extending the May 1 property tax delinquency deadline to June 1.”

Coconino National Forest Closing Crowded Destinations in Sedona
SEDONA, Ariz., April 3, 2020 — In continuing the effort to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest is in the process of closing its highest-use destinations and day-use sites in the Sedona area in response to large numbers of people hiking, congregating, and not practicing social distancing.
In coordination with Verde Valley and Sedona civic leaders, the following trails and day-use sites will be closed this weekend, until further notice:
  • Beaver Creek Day-Use Site
  • Bell Rock Trailhead
  • Cathedral Rock Trailhead and Trail
  • Courthouse Vista Trailhead
  • Crescent Moon Day-Use Site
  • Devil’s Bridge Trail, including OHV access and surrounding associated trails:
  • Dry Creek Trailhead
  • Long Canyon Trailhead
  • Mescal Trailhead
  • West Fork Trailhead and Trail
