A Note from Supervisor Archuleta
|
|
Greetings District 2 Residents,
As the weekend approaches, I want to wish you a Happy Spring, Happy Easter and Happy Passover. Many of us would typically be celebrating with our friends and families this weekend, and we may be feeling sadness that this year is different. So I want to encourage you to continue to connect with your loved ones virtually, to get creative in the way you celebrate, and to make the most of this time you have together. We may not be able to physically celebrate with one another, but that does not mean we have to stop celebrating all together.
Make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the newsletter to see how other people are planning on celebrating this weekend.
I wish you all a happy and healthy weekend. We are all in this TOGETHER.
In community,
Liz Archuleta,
Chair of the Board of Supervisors and
Supervisor of District 2

Coconino County Residents Count:
Don’t forget to fill out the 2020 Census!
|
|
By filling out the census, you are ensuring that our community is counted and can receive the necessary resources we need to keep our community safe, healthy, and thriving!
Other important things to keep in mind:
- Count everyone who is living in your house on 04/01/20 on your census form
- The census DOES NOT ask about citizenship
- All information collected is required BY LAW to be kept confidential
- Make sure to include children and babies when filling out your census
- EVERYONE COUNTS!

“We can begin by doing small things at the local level, like planting community gardens or looking out for our neighbors. That is how change takes place in living systems, not from above but from within, from many local actions occurring simultaneously.” – Grace Lee Boggs
