Parks and Recreation Opens Registration for Summer Camps
Coconino County Parks & Recreation is now accepting registrations for the Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camp. Activities for this year’s camp include archery, group games, hiking, arts and crafts, and a field trip to Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course.
Due to COVID-19, staff made some changes to camp this year, including:
·    Camp will operate Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
·    Camp will not operate with fewer than 10 participants and no more than 15.
·    There will be fewer field trips this year, with most activities occurring at Fort Tuthill
County Park.

New COVID-19 Weekly Report Available
The Coconino County Health and Human Services has issued a new weekly report entitled COVID-19 Coconino County Weekly Update.
The report, which includes a COVID-19 situation summary, key takeaways, demographic and geographic information, hospitalizations and testing data related to Coconino County residents, is updated each Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
AZDHS COVID-19 Website
AZDHS just updated their COVID-19 website which now includes race and ethnicity on confirmed cases, location of confirmed cases by zip code, ages & gender of related deaths, and number of hospital beds & ICU beds available.
Updates on COVID-19 Testing
Coconino County health officials announced upcoming closures to the Fort Tuthill specimen collection site.
The site, located at 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop, Flagstaff.
Below is the Fort Tuthill specimen collection site schedule effective Monday, July 6 until further notice:
  • Mondays: 10 am –3 pm
  • Tuesdays: 10 am – 3 pm
  • Wednesdays: 10 am – 3 pm
  • Thursdays: 10 am – 3 pm
  • Fridays: 10 am – 3 pm
  • Saturdays: Closed
  • Sundays: Closed
Testing is open to anyone interested in being tested for COVID-19. Essential workers, individuals exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and new loss of taste or smell) and individuals that feel they have been exposed to COVID-19 are encouraged to be tested. Individuals who have been exposed are encouraged to wait five to eight days after exposure to be tested to ensure the most accurate test result.
Testing is free of charge and will be limited to the amount of available supplies on a first come, first served basis. Everyone at the testing site is required to wear a mask or face covering.
Testing is intended for Coconino County residents. Additional testing sites will be announced as information is available.

Se recomienda que se hagan pruebas a los trabajadores esenciales, a las personas que presenten síntomas de COVID-19 (fiebre, tos, dificultad para respirar, escalofríos, temblores repetidos con escalofríos, dolor muscular, dolor de cabeza, dolor de garganta y nueva pérdida de sabor o olor) y a las personas que sientan que han estado expuestas a COVID-19. Se recomienda a las personas que han estado expuestas que esperen de cinco a ocho días después de la exposición para que se hagan las pruebas para garantizar el resultado más exacto.

  • The census DOES NOT ask about citizenship
  • All information collected is required BY LAW to be kept confidential
  • Make sure to include children and babies when filling out your census
  • EVERYONE COUNTS!
