Fire Restrictions Remain in Effect
STAGE THREE FIRE RESTRICTIONS
Coconino County is in Stage Three fire restrictions in the unincorporated areas of the county, including on private lands, in coordination with similar actions by the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests and other agencies in the area. Fire restrictions are effective June 23, 2021 at 8 a.m.

FORT TUTHILL AMENITIES UDPATE – CLOSURES DUE TO FIRE RESTRICTIONS
As a result of the impact of the Rafael Fire and Stage 3 Fire Restrictions, Coconino County Parks & Recreation (CCPR) closed trails and other recreational features on Wednesday, June 23 at 8 a.m. at affected parks and natural areas which include Fort Tuthill County Park, Raymond County Park, Rogers Lake County Natural Area, and Pumphouse County Natural Area. Trails that are closed include Soldiers, Bridge, Two-Spot, Gold Digger, and Pumphouse Nature trails, and access to the Highland Trail, Flagstaff Loop Trail, and Harrenburg Wash. Additional recreation features that are closed include Fort Tuthill Bike Park, Fort Tuthill Disc Golf Course, the stables at Fort Tuthill, and the Archery Range at Fort Tuthill. Read more.
COCONINO COUNTY FAIR EARLY BIRD TICKET SALES ONLINE

The 2021 Coconino County Fair is Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-6 at Fort Tuthill County Park Fairgrounds in Flagstaff, AZ. Join in the fun! The County Fair is a community event where people exhibit animals and handcrafts. There are also various entertainment acts, carnival rides and games.

RESTROOM CONSTRUCTION AT FORT TUTHILL COUNTY PARK
Parks & Recreation is building the first, permanent restroom at Fort Tuthill County Park with support from a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant administered by the Arizona State Parks Board. Kinney Construction Services (KCS) is on-site and began construction of the restroom in May. The project has been moving along this month, and the contractor began pouring concrete for the footings of the restroom.
