CALL TO ARTISTS
Coconino County Parks & Recreation is seeking proposals from Arizona artists or artist teams who create large-scale, three-dimensional sculptures to be a part of a public exhibition opportunity at Sawmill Multicultural and Nature County Park located in Flagstaff. Deadline to submit proposal is Feb. 21.

UPDATES TO COUNTY FAIR FEES PROPOSED
The Coconino County Board of Supervisors reviewed fee changes for the Coconino County Fair at their regular meeting on Jan. 28. The fees, which have not increased since 2006, reflect proposed changes to County Fair vendors, entries for open livestock, and 4-H wristbands. The public can comment on the proposed fee changes during the 60-day public comment period which ends Apr. 6. Go on our website to learn more, view proposed fees, and submit a comment.
SUMMER RAMADA RESERVATIONS
Are you interested in booking a site for your family reunion, party, or next get-together? Parks & Recreation will begin accepting summer ramada reservations on Tuesday, Feb. 18. There are 11 ramadas at four County parks available for rent. You can review and reserve ramadas online at Coconino.AZ.Gov/Parks/Ramadas.

Crafternoon: Origami hosted by Williams City-Coconino County Library
Interested in making origami? The Williams City-Coconino County Library is hosting a craft afternoon to learn origami. All ages welcome. In-person and printed instructions will be provided. Show up anytime between 4-6 p.m.

2020 Annual Eagle Celebration
Bald Eagles are back in Flagstaff for the Annual Eagle Celebration held in partnership with Willow Bend Environmental Education Center, Arizona Game and Fish, Liberty Wildlife, and Arizona Watchable Wildlife Experience.
This year’s event will be held at Willow Bend Environmental Education Center, with three separate programs. Check out their event page for times and more info. Cost for each program is $10/participant, $35/family (2 adults + 3 kids) or FREE for Willow Bend Members.
Spotlight on…
Coconino County Parks & Recreation Commission
Members of the Parks & Recreation Commission bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their volunteer term. Part of their service is to recommend policy regarding the development and operation of a well-balanced system of parks, programs, trails, and events. This ten-member board is appointed by the Coconino County Board of Supervisors and members serve a six-year term. They recently held a strategic planning session for the upcoming year.
