The Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth held its 2019 Board of Directors Retreat on Aug. 29 at The Village At Aspen Place in Flagstaff.

During the Retreat, board members had the opportunity to review CCC&Y’s new Mission and Vision statements; review the history, funding sources, committees and board responsibilities; discuss promotional planning opportunities for the Kevin Campbell “Self-Healing Communities” presentation on Oct. 29 in Flagstaff and discuss growth opportunities for the organization.

FACTS Lights On Family Festival to be held Sept. 7 in Flagstaff. See more local education news here

FACTS is holding their annual Lights On Festival this Saturday, September 7th, at Bushmaster Park. Lights On Festival is a free celebration to recognize the importance of after-school programs. There will be games, prizes, food, and more! Make sure to come out this Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM to support everything that FACTS and other Out-of-School Time programs do for our students, families, and community!
