FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff will celebrate Water Awareness Month in April with events hosted at various locations around town. Events will be focused on helping residents and community members conserve water.
The Flagstaff Water Conservation team will provide free water efficiency consultations and supplies at events throughout the month. They will also host a raffle for a free high efficiency toilet. The full schedule of events and tabling is below:
- Water Efficiency Makeovers. Tuesday, April 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at City Hall.
- Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival, Grand Canyon Spirit Night, Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater.
- Science Saturday, Saturday, April 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Willow Bend Center.
- Water Efficiency Makeovers, Friday, April 11 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Buffalo Park.
- Water Treatment Plant Tour, Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at the Lake Mary Water Treatment Plant.
- Earth Day, Saturday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bushmaster Park.
- Rainwater Harvesting Workshop, Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. at Bushmaster Park.
- Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Coconino Community College.
- Full STEAM Ahead, Saturday, April 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort Tuthill.
- Water Efficiency Makeovers, Monday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Joe C. Montoya Senior Center.
- Water Efficiency Makeovers, Tuesday, April 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library.
