FLAGSTAFF — City Hall offices at 211 W. Aspen Ave. will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, 2016 for the Thanksgiving holiday. City Hall offices will reopen on Monday, November 28 with regular hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
City of Flagstaff facilities that are also closed on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 include:
- The Flagstaff Municipal Court (15 N. Beaver St.)
- East Flagstaff Community Library (3000 N. Fourth St.)
- Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library (300 W. Aspen Ave.)
- Hal Jensen Recreation Area (2403 N. Izabel St.)
- Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center (245 N. Thorpe Rd.)
City of Flagstaff facilities that are only closed on Thanksgiving Day Thursday, Nov. 24 include:
- Cinder Lake Landfill (6770 Landfill Rd.)
- Flagstaff Visitor Center (1 Historic Route 66)
- Jay Lively Ice Arena (1650 N. Turquoise)
- Solid Waste Collections
> If your regular trash or recycling pickup is scheduled on a Thursday, it will be picked up the following Saturday (11-26-16) please call 213-2110 for more information.
The City of Flagstaff Aquaplex (1702 N. 4th Street) has an adjusted holiday schedule:
- Early Closure at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23
- Closed on Thursday, Nov. 24
- Open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25
The City of Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (6200 S. Pulliam Dr.) is on a regular schedule and travel reminders include:
- Travelers are encouraged to find alternate transportation to the airport due to limited parking and locating a parking spot may cause delays or a missed flight.
- Arrive early and allow time for check-in, security and baggage lines.
- No liquids in containers larger than 3.4 ounces may be in carry-on bags
- The FAA has banned Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s from being carried on planes, leave them at home. Visit TSA.gov/travel for more information about prohibited items or questions.
