FLAGSTAFF — The city of Flagstaff has named Jeanie Gallagher as the new Human Resources Director. Gallagher participated in an open and competitive recruitment and will join the city on Dec. 30, 2019.
“Jeannie stood out during the recruitment process due to her strong leadership, emphasis on coaching and creating a collaborative environment,” said Shannon Anderson, Deputy City Manager. “We are grateful to our Interim Human Resources Manager, Allison Eckert for her work leading the department during this search and look forward to welcoming Jeanie to Team Flagstaff.”
Gallagher has a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Colorado Christian University and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is certified by the Association for Psychological Type, a Certified Facilitator and is also Just Culture certified. Gallagher has held senior level human resource and operations positions for small, large and global organizations. She will be responsible for all aspects of human resource services with emphasis on leader and staff development and successfully translating the city’s strategic initiatives into effective people strategies.
